Colleen Carlos has worked in government for more than a decade, where she served in various roles in both the Executive and Legislative branches. Most recently, Colleen served as Special Assistant to the President in the Office of Legislative Affairs for President Biden, where she engaged lawmakers and senior level staff on key Administration priorities. During her time at the White House, she focused on Judiciary and Oversight Committee issues, in addition to Congressional member engagement. Prior to joining the White House, Colleen worked in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she served as Chief of Staff to Representative Madeleine Dean (D-PA-04) for several years. Previously, Colleen worked as Legislative Director for Representative Dean, handling the Financial Services portfolio, and also served in other capacities during her tenure on Capitol Hill.
Colleen holds a BA from the University of Michigan and is originally from Pittsburgh, PA.
